e.Laniese Makes Its New York Fashion Week Debut
One Year After Launching Their Clothing Line e.Laniese Takes Fashions Center Stage
Washington, DC – e.Laniese made its NYFW debut this weekend at the Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn, NY this past Saturday, September 12, 2026. This major milestone comes almost one year to the date that the brand registered its trademark with the USPTO and one year after the brand launched its first collection.
“I’m still in shock that I made my NYFW debut a year after I launched my first collection,” says Erinn Dumas, Founder and Creative Director of e.Laniese. “Seeing my clothes go down fashion's biggest runway was magical, I keep pinching myself to see if I'm dreaming.”
Known for its bold, fashion forward women’s clothing, e.Laniese brought its signature aesthetic to the New York Fashion Week runway with bold colors, statement making silhouettes and tall-friendly pants designed with a wide range of body proportions in mind.
The NYFW debut also highlighted e.Laniese’s commitment to inclusive fashion, featuring models of varied ages, shapes and sizes. As an independent clothing line, e.Laniese creates contemporary women’s clothing for bodies that don’t always fit traditional fashion industry size standards.
The New York Fashion Week appearance represents another major milestone in the evolution of e.Laniese, which was founded by Dumas in 2017 as a bespoke clothing line. After a four year hiatus, the brand returned in 2023 before transitioning into the clothing line it is today.
Dumas’ journey from independent designer to NYFW runway participant reflects the growth of e.Laniese as it continues to build its presence in the fashion industry while championing style, individuality and greater representation in women’s fashion.
